Ok?Tom got his visa and?finally made here safe and sound. Although?he missed his flight from Moscow to Syktyvkar, he caught a later flight and now sleeps soundly in the next room catching up on the lack of rest over the past?28 hours or so it took to get here.

Tomorrow morning we catch a train for Moscow to start?our long journey back to the States.?After?26 hours on the train, we will spend the day in Moscow with Alyona who?has been a crucial part of our team.?It will be a free day in Moscow until our flight?that evening. Our 2nd EQUIP Leadership conference in Syktyvkar has come and gone. This conference is part of the Million Leader Mandate, a global initiative by Dr. John Maxwell to train a million Christian leaders worldwide by 2008.?The conference was well attended and the feedback we received has been encouraging. The idea is that each leader present will in turn use the free workbooks provided to train others. Today, my wife Kristen and I are in Moscow. I am writing this from the first McDonalds that ever opened here in Russia back in the early 90?s. It has free Wi-Fi and better food than the States, so we are hanging out here for a while with my friend Alisher and getting some work done on the internet.
