Monday Morning Run Down
Kicked off our summer series this weekend – Chase the Lion is off to a roaring start (listen here)
Crazy storm blew through Monroe County Saturday night – tornadoes touched down & power was lost but thank God that no one was seriously hurt according to reports so far
Thanks to everyone who prayed at the former Farmer Jack building last week – we’ll have teams praying there again this week if you want to stop by: Tuesday 12.15pm - Wednesday 7 am – Thursday 5.30pm
We are coordinating the summer series with some summer reading – so you can pick up the book In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day in the lobby before and after services
Lakers let one slip away last night and now the NBA Finals are tied 1-1 with the Celtics – really thought they could have managed the last 2 minutes of the game better and got the win
Everyone going on a mission trip this year to Honduras had their evangelism & cultural training last night – big thanks to CedarCreek Pastor of Outreach Bill Trout for coming up to take our missionaries through such important training – can’t wait to see all the great things God does through these trips
Crazy week ahead but I’m looking forward to it – meeting with some area pastors that really encourage me & I’ll be sharing a few meals this week with some great people from Elevate
God is doing some amazing stuff leading us to new heights at Elevate right now – some of which is completely mysterious – we just don’t know what it looks like because its so brand new to us – it’s like trying to describe a tree to an Eskimo – as God said in Joshua 3.4 “you’ve never passed this way before”
For those who heard the talk on Sunday… I made the shot (hey everyone gets lucky sometimes)
The Lion Chaser Manifesto is loaded with power – I’m going to make a habit of repeating it at least once a day during the summer series – later this week, I’ll be posting it here so look out for it
Excited to play in a golf scramble this coming weekend – my first scramble in 3 years – don’t know why it’s been so long but I’m looking forward to it
Two leadership learning opportunities coming up:
Leadership Summit is Aug. 5-6 in Toledo- register here by June 22 for best rates & use code TOGETHER
Elevate’s next ELEVEN33 LEADERSHIP will be 5.30p June 27 at Monroe’s Chamber of Commerce
Have a great week!

Loved the beginning talk of this series!! Have had it in my thoughts a few times today and feel very positive about the perspective that is developing because of it. Ready and excited for more
So much to be excited about here at Elevate. I agree with Jill, I loved the first talk of this series and I am looking forward to the whole thing. I have been hearing great things from the prayer teams as they have been meeting at the old Farmer Jack location.
Honduras training meeting was AWESOME – and Bill helped out a ton!
Exciting – Exciting – Exciting!!!
