Restoration
Speaker: Adam Davis

(listen online here)

Acts 3.21 NLT
For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through his holy prophets.

Genesis 2.8-9 NLT
Then the Lord God planted a garden in Eden in the east, and there he placed the man he had made. The Lord God made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground—trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. In the middle of the garden he placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Revelation 22.2 NLT
It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations.

Revelation 21.5 NLT
It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations.

The restoration of all things reveals

that God created us for more

How does the common view of eternity differ from the Biblical perspective?

How does the idea that miracles merely show us the way things are supposed to be give you hope today?

Name three things that are included in the renewed heaven and earth (see Revelation 21 & 22).

Next Steps:

  • Ready to step into the renewal God offers? Mark “becoming a follower of Christ” on your 411 card and someone will follow up with you.
  • Read the Bible as one seamless story from beginning to end. Pick up a copy of “The Story” book at the Welcome Center today.
  • To live the story well, you have to know the story well. Set aside time each day to read the Bible. Pick up a Reading Plan at the Welcome Center.

Read the verses, answer the questions above and take with you to your eleven32 small group.
