Monday Morning Run Down
Great night at Elevate United last night – seriously experienced God’s presence in a very real way – fitting way to celebrate Pentecost
The relocation of Elevate Church is still moving along- the two things we are waiting for now is to review the lease agreement and find out about some code categories that may need upgraded and we have a meeting with the city on June 3rd to attain a special use permit so here are some things to keep in prayer: favor with both the landlord and the city officials, that everything goes well with the lease and that we can get into the new property as soon as possible – thanks for your support!
Unfortunately you have missed the lowest rate for the Leadership Summit event in Toledo on August 5-6, however you can still register for the still very low rate of $115 – just go to www.elevate-church.com & use the code TOGETHER – this experience is worth the investment
Finally some good weather in SE Michigan! Looking to power wash the deck, clean out the garage and get some other basic yard work done in the next week
Next weekend we’ll celebrate my youngest son Landon’s first birthday- looking forward to seeing family from out of town and enjoying the occasion
Two good services yesterday morning at Elevate plus a Connection Event – lots of new people and I always love to meet those who are visiting for the first time
Lakers dropped a game to the Suns but are still up 2-1 in the series – Celtics are going to close their series with the Magic out quickly – Lakers need to do the same to get some rest before facing the Celts in the finals!
Lots of people asking about the next ELEVEN33 LEADERSHIP meeting – it will be June 27th at 5.30pm at the Chamber of Commerce just east of I-75 on N. Dixie Hwy – we are getting an amazing response from those who attend so make plans now to be there
Addison is doing great going on the potty – pull ups at night and big boy undies by day with only a few accidents usually when he is playing outside & doesn’t want to stop long enough to come in to go to the bathroom. He is making progress in that area though – this weekend we’re in the backyard and I see Addy peeing in the landscape! Better than in his pants I guess?!
Pentecost is proof that God pursues a people – the question is how will we respond? Camping at the foot of the mountain while God appears at its summit or will we make the climb? We will go to Mt. Sinai where the people’s hearts were turned to idols or Mt. Zion where the people were filled with God’s Spirit? Listen to the talk here
The Celebrity Apprentice finale was last night – love the leadership principles in that show – rocker Bret Michaels was named the winner over actress Holly Robinson-Peete – anybody else with me that Bret garnished the sympathy vote for all his health issues lately? Either way, I’m glad Bret is doing well and it was cool to see Donald Trump & Snapple double the grand prize and split it between both Bret & Holly’s charities
Have a great week!

Leave Addy alone, peeing in the landscape is a man thing!
Absolutely love The Apprentice. Some things we can learn from Bret. Sometimes just busting it out and getting it done says a lot. Unfortunately, I work a lot like him so I can sympathize. Holly, probably should have won because she raised the $347,000 in just one task. However, she did lose more projects.
