Monday Morning Run Down
Some thoughts on the weekend past & week ahead:Packed weekend with 4 hour missional membership on Saturday, 2 services Sunday morning, 2 hour missional membership class Sunday afternoon and ELEVEN33 Leadership Group Sunday evening… packed but productive
Ryan Throop (Community Pastor at Elevate) did a great job kicking off our new series STORY yesterday – you can hear the talk on Creation here
What is up with the Lakers? 2-2 in the series with Oklahoma City? Really?
Enjoyed my time with leaders last night at 1133 group – had a great response with 43 people attending our first ever leadership gathering – look for more details on the next 1133 group held May 16 or email info@elevate-church.com to add your name to the leadership group email list
Because I worked all weekend, spending the morning with my family with Landon at my feet and Addison curled up in my lap – love my boys
Our first ever Missional Membership classes are going incredibly well – next weekend you can attend all 4 hours if you need from 2pm to 6pm Sunday or if you already have the first 2 hours covered, come at 4pm to complete the class requirements – email info@elevate-church.com for more details
Tomorrow I’ll be spending time with regional church planters in Toledo through Luke10 network – really enjoying getting to know these guys and being a part of their journey to plant healthy churches that impact their communities for Christ
Gotta get some time with my lovely wife this week- things have been so crazy that our quality has suffered the last 10 days – what can I plan special…
Saw some preliminary drawings for layout of a new worship space last Friday and it is exciting to see the progress so far – submitting a special use application this week for our possible relocation with a city meeting June 3rd – pray for that permit to be approved!
Weather is horrible today – it’d be a good day to stay home and do nothing – but the middle of the week is suppose to be very nice – golf maybe this week?
Have a week full of grace!
