Leaning Your Ladder on God’s Love
Last weekend we explored the paradox of remaining hopeful in a hopelessly broken world. We’ve all wrestled at some level with this dilemma. We trust our ladder of hope to support our dreams, our security and our future. But, at some point, we’ve all experienced our hope crashing down around us and we’ve been let down.
It’s only when we lean our hope on God’s love that we can find true hope and security. You see, we live in a hopelessly broken world and our pursuit is futile when we put our hope in anything other than God.
May your unfailing love be with us, LORD, even as we put our hope in you.
Psalm 33.22 TNIV
No matter where you are today, I invite you to lean your ladder against God’s unfailing love for you, shown in Jesus. It’s the only way to maintain hope in the long run.
