Monday Morning Run Down
Wow! An incredible day at Elevate! Enjoyed the Jesus Loves You This I Know series – I think it really captures the heart of who we are as a community of faith
The staff and I are in Atlanta the first part of this week at the Velocity Conference put on by churchplanters.com – there’s something here for each one of the staff – loving it!
Mark your calendar! March 28th we are celebrating Elevate’s one year birthday and it’s going to be one heaven of a party! From 4-7pm at the Monroe Community College gymnasium ecstatic celebration and unbridled gratitude for all God has done this year will ensue – be there!
Loads of new faces at Elevate today – we consider visitors to be a gift from God and want you to feel welcome – hope to see you again soon!
Can’t get the song Your Love Never Fails out of my head since Elevate Band rocked it yesterday to close the services and I gotta say… I’m not hating it
Can’t believe we’re saying this only a month after going to two identical services, but our 10.45am service is packed! I’m asking any regular attenders not already doing so to consider attending the 9am service to make room for newcomers who will most likely attend the 10.45 service. Thanks for being devoted to reaching people for Christ.
Missing my family already – love them already anyway but crazy how true it is that absence makes the heart grow fonder
Thanks to everyone who has recently asked how I am doing since going to two services – I feel great! I am pacing myself a little differently and drinking more water but I feel energized by getting to do what I do. It really helps that our staff and volunteers are so great – but thanks for your concern!
While in Atlanta, we are staying with my good friends Tom & Dianne Boldt- they are incredible people – Tom has been to more than 50 nations doing mission work and Dianne was an executive with Kenner Toys when they took the Star Wars figures (and movie marketing) to new heights and then with Disney Music in its prime. Love the time I get to spend with them!
Have a great week

Today on Good Morning America one of the volunteers who was released from a prison in Haiti, was asked, “What did you learn most from this experience?” He said God was with me through the entire ordeal”. I thought of the sermon on Sunday and his comments resonated what Pastor Adam was preaching…God loves us no matter what and he is with us.
