Great time at Elevate yesterday – talking about the radical love of Jesus never gets old!

The season of Lent begins Wednesday – Lent is a journey toward Easter and you’re invited to join us in some spiritual practices this season. We have created this simple guide to help you get started & you can log on to this blog each day of Lent to view that day’s reading. Discover the life of Jesus in a whole new way with Elevate this Lent season

Meeting with a group of church-planters this week that I’ll be part of leading as we help other churches get a healthy start- such a privilege to serve others who serve others!

Didn’t see a minute of the NBA All-Star game last night – fell asleep on the couch waiting for it to start – out cold before the tip-off

The search for a new Elevate location heats up as we take a look inside one of our most desired site’s this week to see what it will take for us to hold worship experiences there (Deuteronomy 12.11 NCV-  Then the Lord your God will choose a place where He is to be worshiped)

My 2 year old son, Addison, made his first snow angel this weekend – takes 10 minutes to get him ready to go outside, he’s cold and wants to go back inside within 20 minutes and it takes another 10 minutes to unwrap him from the layers of clothes – but it sure is fun to watch him play in the snow!

Over 300 people attended Elevate for the 3rd Sunday in a row – by God’s grace we have grown by a hundred people in the last month – if you have been at Elevate for a while, I encourage you to reach out to the new faces around you – let’s help people take their next step toward God!

Anyone watch much of the Winter Olympics this weekend? I haven’t yet but plan to catch a few events over the next couple weeks even though the summer games are by far my favorite

Elevate Kids volunteers are doing an awesome job helping our children discover God in fun and understandable ways – yesterday a new family was reluctant to put their children in Elevate Kids on their first visit but did anyway and their kids loved it! Hollie Behnke, our Elevate Kids Director, is doing fantastic work!

Next few weeks are pretty packed for me: next week I’m attending a conference and meeting with folks from CedarCreek and the week after I’m headed to the Bahamas with my wife for some much needed rest and quality time- but I’ll see everyone on each of those Sundays because all my travel will be during the week

Have a great week!

Heh Adam, this is fantastic news, I had a real feeling when I was there with you that God was/is going to do something big at Elevate.
I am excited to see and here when God’s good and perfect plan come to fulfillment. I firmly believe that God’s plan still has someway to go before being complete with the church there in Monroe, what I mean by this I believe God will continue to bless an outward and missiological church. To Him be the glory.

PS I would like to email you personally Adam but somehow (probably me) I have not got your email address.

Blessings and send all their my warmest regards

    Ian
