I mean because of Jesus, God no longer holds ANYONE'S sin against them! Sure sin still traps us, tangles us up, leads us astray and has a payment (Romans 6.23). But sin isn't a problem for God- it's a problem for us and that's why He took care of it. The key thing to know is that God no longer holds our sin against us - Jesus settled that - and now the only thing that keeps us from experiencing release from sin is our own response. Incredible to me that - like the leper - He takes away our impurity. Makes us say "We've never seen anything like this before" (Mark 2.12). Amazing that Jesus forgives us from our sins (Mark 2.5)isn’t it? I mean because of Jesus, God no longer holds ANYONE’S sin against them!
