I’m writing my 500th post…My first post- the message that messes with you -was on September 27, 2006 and set a tone for what is still written here.

It’s been quite a ride. When I started writing this blog:

• I was prepping to go to Russia for an extended stay into the winter
• Kristen and I did not yet know we were pregnant with our first son Addison
• It was almost a full year before I moved to Monroe, MI
• It was 2.5 years before we  launched Elevate Church
