Great day at Elevate – special guests Ian Fawcett & Steve Hutmacher were here to talk about the Big Give- our goal is to build a home for an HIV/AIDS affected family in Honduras.

Watched the Nutcracker ballet today at the River Raisin Centre for the Arts- great job by all the performers – one of which was Elevate’s very own Dave Behnke (pastor of operations).

I heard that my friend and church planter Kevin Grubinski had one of the best services in the young history of LifePoint – they are doing great things in Findlay, OH.

Gotta say that Elevate is full of incredible people! Seriously, I am blessed to pastor this church. Thanks everyone for letting your light shine!

Dropped my touchscreen phone down the stairs this morning while on a call & it went to pieces- I picked it up, put it back together, turned it on and continued the call- the thing still works – it’s a Christmas miracle !

We are totally building a home for a Honduran family in dire need this Christmas. AMAZING!

Does the Elevate Band just get better and better or what? Ryan Minton and gang were on it today – they make it easy to worship God.

My 2 1/2 year old son, Addison has switched from calling me “daddy” to “dada” lately (& mommy has become mama) – wonder if he’s hearing Kristen & I talk to little bro Landon in that language?

Terrific job from our production & creative crews this weekend maneuvering around the ballet at the RRCA, putting together the 8ft tall gift box that was on stage (good job Amanda Minton on the bow) and the sound was very good too.

OK so the billboard is up; we have special invite cards for you to hand out to all your friends & fam; posters are available to display in public places if you have access; we are planning a service where we can hear the Gospel message, encounter God and be inspired; we know God wants to reach people even more than we do – so what can keep us from reaching more people than ever before? Only if we don’t invite people to Christmas at Elevate.
