Here’s a quick update I sent today to the wonderful people of Elevate…

Hello everyone!
One of the things we really value at Elevate is taking time to see where we’ve come from and where we’re going. So I want to take just a minute to share some exciting things that have recently taken place as well as some things that are coming up at Elevate Church.

Since beginning our Fall Outreach on September 27:

• Attendance is up over 20% at our weekend services
• Traffic to our website has increased by 45%
• 110 people have connected in our eleven32 small groups
• We baptized 20 people at November’s Elevate United
• BlessBack Outreaches are helping more people than ever
• Announced that Elevate will begin looking for a new location
• To date more than 30 people have crossed the line of faith at Elevate

But really we’re just getting started with what God wants to do at Elevate during this season. Let me share with you some of the exciting things that are coming up:

We’re celebrating our first Christmas together as a church family by raising the funds to purchase a home for a family affected by HIV/AIDS in Honduras through The Big Give. The Big Give is an opportunity to go above and beyond our regular tithes & offerings to make a difference in our world at Christmas time.

Speaking of Christmas, Elevate is holding 2 identical services the week of Christmas: December 23rd at 6pm and December 24th at 4pm. This should make it convenient for everyone currently at Elevate to attend as well as help us reach more people who may not attend church at all. Some people may not be open to going to church any other time of the year- this is a great opportunity to invite your friends and family.

Our regular service on Sunday December 27th is canceled, but we’ll begin a brand new series but on Sunday January 3rd that will help us start 2010 off right.

The Fall Semester of eleven32 groups will conclude the week of December 6th-11th but after a short break for the holidays we’ll kick off the Winter Semester beginning the week of January 10th. Finally, we are launching our new website this Sunday November 29th! Everything has been enhanced from online giving options to archived audio of every talk recorded since the launch of Elevate.
