I am so excited to be a part of a church that gives itself away. As I talked to friends of mine we discussed the fact that this is truly lost in the church today altogether or that it gives itself away conditionally. The scripture that stood out was from Genesis 24:19, Rebekah went beyond her convenience and not only drew the man a drink but drew water for all of the camels. I am humbled to be a part of a community so willing to unconditionally give itself away! What an amazing talk this week!! I am so excited to be a part of a church that gives itself away.
