Taking it further is all about taking the Sunday sermon beyond Sunday and letting you generate the content.  Share your thoughts, insights & Scriptures that correlate with this topic and let’s learn from each other.
                                          Naturally Supernatural

17% of people say they play tot heir strengths most of the time

Mark 16.16    What you  _believe_ is important.

Strengths are not necessarily what you can do well
Weaknesses aren’t exactly what you don’t do well

Success – you gain some level of proficiency in it
Instinct – you naturally look forward to it
Growth- you can easily focus while doing it
Needs – fulfills a need deep inside you

Judges 14.5-6; 16.1-2
As you grow, you become more of who you already are.

When it comes to character work on your weaknesses.
when it comes to competnecies go with your strengths.

You are most naturally supernatural when you are spending the majority of you time & energy int e strengths for which God created you.

When I read about Sampson and how he used his strengths, I look at the statistic at the top and wonder how much of the 17 percent of people who play to their strengths actually use them for good??

Being naturally supernatural is about realizing and utilizing how God has uniquely wired each of us and tapping into the unique ministry God has for us.

Imagine a church where 100% of people play to their strengths and jump on board with what God is calling them to do, and are serving for the greater purpose of the church… Imagine Elevate being that church. Wow!

At times weaknesses seem as a limitation or reason to give up on something. It is so reassuring (and crazy at the same time) to know that even my weaknesses are a part of who God created me to be. It is up to me not to give up when things seem so out of reach or context, but to continue to work and press through those weaknesses so that I may be more competent and grow in my strengths.

I love Jer. 1.4-5, God knew us and set us apart before we were ever born. He had a plan for us and He knew all about us – our strengths and our weaknesses. And amazingly He created other people with other strengths and weaknesses so that when we work together we all have a way to contribute – all to accomplish a bigger work than what we could do alone. When I think of this I think of putting together a puzzle – putting the pieces in just the right place, which then creates a whole picture.
