Kristen & I are going away together for a few days this week for some needed rest. Here’s what we have planned for our time away the next few days:
sit by the pool, read and go eat something when we get hungry enough to motivate us to get up &  around.

Seriously that’s it! We want to do as close to nothing as possible. No schedules & nothing we have to do. The next month will be absolutely crazy with the Grand Opening Service of Elevate coming at the end of the March and the months after that will be pretty full too with the demands of a growing church and a new edition to the family coming in June.

Don’t get me wrong – we love the intensity of church planting and most of what comes with it – but everybody needs a little time away to disengage & refresh and this is our time.
