Right on about vision, Adam! In one sense, vision has to become part of the culture and DNA of any leadership group or organization.

Specifically, I've been in churches where people have gotten behind a vision, yet over time naturally fell back into old habits and back into the "status qua." This is because the vision wasn't continually put in front of the church. Vision isn't a one-time event... true vision is continuous and is constantly moving forward.

Another danger with a "leaky" vision is when leaders wait until it's too late to pump vision back into the organization. Part of leadership is recognizing the very principle that vision does leak, like you said.
