Great service yesterday at Elevate. In the past 2 weeks we’ve had 9 first time visitors and we are running out of space in the room where we’re gathering at the La-Z-Boy Center. After service we offer a short tour & talk where people can see the facilities and hear the vision of Elevate – we had about 10 people participate in that yesterday.

In addition to 5 new visitors yesterday, we also had a couple special guests from the staff of CedarCreek (church in Toledo partnering to help us get started). As I’ve written before, these guys just get it and it was awesome to have them hang out with us for the day. No way we could do what we’re doing at the pace we’re doing it without these guys. The level of kingdom-mindedness that CedarCreek (CC) has shown us is amazing – to the point that they’re inviting those that attend CC and live in SE Michigan to come be a part of Elevate – most churches just do that kind of stuff.

Maybe what I love the most is that our regular attenders are all so excited about what’s happening. They help create an atmosphere that is welcoming to newcomers. None of them have territorial attitudes (my parking space, my place to serve, my chair, etc…) and everyone is willing to serve others for the cause of Christ.

Awesome stuff happening at Elevate – loads of fun to be a part fo it.
