The movie Tombstone is one of my favorite of all times and I got to watch it last week on the History Channel (nerd alert!). Near the end of the movie, Doc Holiday is on his death bed and asks Wyatt Earp what he wants out of life and Wyatt says he just wants a normal life. Doc the philosopher gunslinger says:
“There is no normal life Wyatt, just life.”

I can relate to this statement. I have more than once said “can’t we just have a normal life” – guess not!
LOL!!! Don’t take this the wrong way, but it must be a pastor’s wife thing. There’s, of course, been points in my life where I’ve lost track of my focus and wanted to have a “normal life.” I have to remind myself that God didn’t call any Christ-followers to live a “normal life.” He called us to live an extraordinary life!!!
