Great quote from Elevate’s own Adam Williams at a recent Launch Team meeting while we were discussing the fact that being a loving church that reaches unchurched people will mean attracting those with differing views and lifestyles. I asked the Launch Team if they were ready to embrace these people and if they were ready for the criticism we might receive as a church that has “sinners” attend?

Adam raises his hand and says “Isn’t that the point? For sinners to come to church?”

I couldn’t be more proud as a pastor at the response of the entire Launch Team that night – summed up beautifully by Adam’s words.
