Grateful for Thanksgiving
Here are some things I’m thankful for (not all things I’m grateful for are created equal):
the post on football’s connection to Thanksgiving I wrote 2 years ago while in Russia
watching my son at play when he isn’t aware that I’m there
all the people giving to the 100 campaign to help us plant Elevate Church
our garage – seriously it changes your quality of life (especially with Michigan winters)
partnership with EQUIP the past 3 years – helped fulfill vision God gave me & I learned tons
a healthy pregnancy for Kristen – she carries so well
the awesome people I’ve met and worked with as a missionary to other nations
Adam Sandler’s turkey song – I too wish turkey only cost a nickle
my extended family and getting to spend time with them this holiday season
the relationship that is beginning to form with CedarCreek Church
my unborn son or daughter and the times we’ll have together
the people who call Elevate their home church – privileged to be their pastor
playing Wii with my brother – especially beating him when we play Wii
that God took such great length’s to show me His love in Jesus
eating turkey on Thanksgiving – enough said
breathe – life – mercy – favor – sight – rest – activity – healing – brokenness – love…
