Elevate kicked off ONE PRAYER yesterday along with over 1300
churches and almost 800,000 people around the world.

We chose a great message from Craig Groeschel
“Lord make us one”, that was all about unity in the global
Body of Christ. Craig proposes that we’re not doing well in this area
& it hurts the work of Christ in our local communities – something I
agree with & have experienced in my ministry as a missionary.

In the course of our work in Russia we have seen so much division that I have literally wept over it. On the positive side, our leadership events have had greater cooperation among churches in the area than was ever seen before.

Craig offers a vision of what the world might look like in just 1 week if the church was one:
By Monday, starvation around the world could be eliminated
By Tuesday, every person could have access to clean drinking water
By Wednesday, everyone with a medical need could be properly treated
By Thursday, poverty could be completely eradicated
By Friday, every orphan with a need could receive adequate attention
By Saturday of this week, not only would everyone in the world know the Name of Jesus, they would see Him, if the church became one.
By Sunday, we would worship like never before, because the world would know the glory, power, and love of Jesus through His people

“Make us one” is an important message for the Body of Christ in the US & around the world. So important that one of the last prayers Jesus prayed before He was crucified was that His followers would be “in complete unity”. What a powerful & under-realized prayer! Think of this: we could be the answer to Jesus’ prayer.

Lord please, make us one.
