We’re just into June but I can tell this month is going to totally rock. Here’s some of the things going on that make this June significant for me:

Anniversaries: a number of my friends & family were married in June (Happy Anniversary all)
The NBA Finals: Lakers vs. Celtics started last night – does it get any better than this?
I turn 33 years old this month – wow I can’t believe I still do some of the silly things I do
Elevate will hold it’s 1st public service – four babies will be dedicated on the 15th
My son Addison turns 1 on the 18th, party’s on the 14th with lots of food, friends & family
My first Father’s Day as a pastor and more importantly as a real live papa
One of the couples in our core team, Justin & Erica, will give birth to a son (any day now)
We’re joining 1200+ churches around the world for the sermon series ONE PRAYER
It’s finally getting warm enough here in Michigan to wear short sleeves outside!
More & more people are stepping up to be one of the hundred to help launch Elevate Church
We’ll finish phase one of training a group of leaders in Battle Creek MI on the 21st
I’m looking forward to our Connection event this month at Elevate: a BBQ @ the Behnke’s
Addison will be getting his one year pictures taken next week – a family foto too I think

Busy but should be fun and a lot of significant events/milestones. I had better build in some time in June for reflective thinking – the way time is flying – it will be July before I know it!
