To all you Moms out there, we say thanks!
Motherhood is a powerful thing. Your influence on us is immeasurable, but the statement in this graphic is a good starting point.
Thanks to both my Mom, who has influenced me so much, and to my wife, Kristen, who is a wonderful mother to my son Addison!

My Dad would quote parts of the poem by William Ross Wallace “The Hand That Rocks The Cradle Rules The World”.
Must have believed what I heard because I took that vocation very seriously. I must say though; the children God gave me made the job pretty easy. Dad did his part to “rule the world” he had eight daughters. Below are my favorite lines from the poem.
Woman, how divine your mission
Here upon our natal sod!
Keep, oh, keep the young heart open
Always to the breath of God!
All true trophies of the ages
Are from mother-love impearled;
For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world.
